In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, organisers had decided to postpone the CYSEC conference to a new date in October. The organizers’ main concern is to guarantee the health of everyone involved and ensure a high level of attendance from stakeholders around the world. The decision to postpone the conference has been taken to minimize costs and risks for all involved, in the wake of the decision by the World Health Organization to declare COVID-19 a global pandemic.

The University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica and RiniGARD had planned to hold the CYSEC from 29 to 30 April at the Hotel Astarea in Dubrovnik. The conference is now scheduled for 27 and 28 October at the same venue.

The conference organizers invite all partners to continue their engagement with this event and will work towards ensuring the same programme with an even greater level of participation in October. Also, as mentioned in the previous newsletter, the Organisational and Programme committees have decided to continue with the preparation of the Conference Proceedings.
