Securing healthcare data: From manual data input to automated neural networks

In this issue of the newsletter, we will introduce to you the first in a series of panels that you can listen to at this year’s CYSEC conference, which will be held in Dubrovnik, April 29-30.

During the first panel, titled Securing healthcare data: From manual data input to automated neural networks, Denise Anderson, the president of H-ISEC, will address the audience as one of the keynote speakers, and will also moderate the panel itself.

The panel will present the following submitted papers: Cyber-physical threat detection platform designed for healthcare systems and Your hospital needs you: Eliciting positive cybersecurity behaviours from healthcare staff.

Also, Stela Shiroka from SECUREHOSPITALS.EU will join the panel and talk about Cybersecurity in the healthcare sector: The training and awareness raising dimension, as one of the Horizon 2020 projects presented at the conference. The other Horizon 2020 project presented at the conference on the topic of healthcare will be PANACEA and their project Cyberthreats to Hospitals: PANACEA a toolkit for Cybersecurity.
At the end of the panel, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and join discussions.

We will be presenting the rest of the panels in our upcoming weekly newsletters, so stay tuned!

We would also like to remind you to book your room as soon as possible. We have secured a limited number of rooms at a discounted price for the conference attendees at the hotel Astarea, Dubrovnik, where the conference will be held, and the nearby Sheraton Hotel. Don’t miss this opportunity and book your room during your on-line conference registration.

And don’t forget, CYSEC provides a unique opportunity to network with Horizon 2020 project representatives and enables you to get connected with future consortium partners.
