Ioannis Chasiotis (MSc) holds a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (Scotland) and an MSc in Communications, Control and Digital Signal Processing for the same Institution. He has over 10 years of experience within a broad spectrum of consulting services including the implementation of preparatory studies for IT Projects (including requirement specifications), the Analysis-Design & Delivery of IT Solutions, the Organizational Restructuring as well as the management / monitoring of EU co-funded IT projects. In this regard, Ioannis has been involved in a variety of projects across industries, such as: Financial & Insurance Institutions, Information Technologies, Government, Education and Social Security. Indicative projects referred to: Supporting clients in the Banking Sector in the coordination and management of corrective actions for compliance with ECB/BoG recommendations, Development of ICT Strategy and Master Plans, Support the implementation of a organizations transformation programmes (including ICT infrastructure), etc. His research interests include ICT systems security and conceptual design. He is currently a research associate at the Centre for Security Studies (KEMEA), of the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection.
